I thought this was going to have something to do with Team Rocket
But when it comes to “White Power” everyone get’s all mad. e.e
It can’t possibly be that “white pride” or “white power” is the very reason why the people of color above had to organize and fight the way we still have to today. It can’t be.
[sarcasm]And as we know, folks, the best policy in fairness is to judge people of a certain race based on how people who potentially are related to them acted in the past. White people are not allowed to be proud of their race, sorry, your ancestors fucked it up too much for you, you just gotta deal. Also, make sure you jump into other racial group advocacies with slightly over-the-top zeal to show that you have the proper amount of white guilt.[/sarcasm]
Everyone should have the right to celebrate their ethnicity so long as their celebrations do not include oppressing another ethnicity.
(We won’t even get into the fact that nobody even knows what “white people” or “white power” are anymore since the Jews, the Irish, and any number of clearly white groups (today) used to be considered non-white).
I’m pretty sure that the person posting in this reblog chain about “white power” was referencing the fact that saying anything about white power is immediately gasp-inducing and horrible. [sarcasm]Yes, even if (although this is obviously SO rare and pretty much never happens) you are not a neo-nazi skinhead racist.[/sarcasm] Pretty ironic, considering the person who responded to that comment did exactly that, and assumed that the person was referring to the oppressive, racist white pride of decades past as opposed to someone being proud to be white (and yes, we know, that would really be unacceptable).
I think a lot of people reblogging and disagreeing with this presume themselves to be the “nice girl”actually it’s a really great pun
-_- I know what pegging is Val, and I’d say the pun is made better by the fact that apparently most people who are reblogging it don’t know what it is. Those are the people I am calling out. Check yo’self before you wreck yo’self.
When Strangers Click, a 2011 documentary about online dating.
It reminds me of that famous Margaret Atwood quote: “Men are afraid that women will laugh at them. Women are afraid that men will kill them.” It also reminds me of something written by one of the mods of Sex Worker Problems: “Misandry irritates. Misogyny kills.”
I mean, it’s just true.

GOOD ONE. Never mind the many men who have committed suicide because they haven’t performed to society’s standards. Fucking hell, this site has some fucked up shit on it, but this is actually disgusting.

I’m pretty sure that people murder people, not misogyny. This is like the “omg gunz r bad lololol cuz dey kill people” argument.

why do nice girls always go for the assholes i dont even like pegging
No. Just. NO. I am so sick of this bullshit stereotype being both perpetuated AND played out. No.
um
Saying nice girls go with the assholes is the biggest stereotype in relationships of all time
uM
I think a lot of people reblogging and disagreeing with this presume themselves to be the “nice girl”
It means that nobody should be discriminated against or marginalized on the basis of their gender.
Both sexes being the same would be an awful, terrible thing. (Other adjectives that would suffice: terribad, catastrophic, generally negative)
